Bundoo

As a first-time mom, and even now as a second-time mom, I have a lot of questions. I am much more relaxed this time, however, each child is different so different problems arise each time. When, as a parent, I have questions I want to know that I have a trusted resource I can turn to in order to get more information. Bundoo is one of those resources.

Bundoo.com offers a wealth of information and an online community for smart, busy parents. Some of Bundoo’s key features include:

  • All content on Bundoo.com is always free, as is registration (needed to participate in groups or comment on articles).
  • Free articles reviewed and written by pediatricians, OB/GYNs and child development specialists
  • Marketplace that features pediatrician-approved products
  • The groundbreaking Ask Bundoo paid service that connects parents directly with pediatricians, OB/GYNs and other childcare experts to answer questions privately so that parents can get peace of mind without having to make a trip to the doctor and pay a co-pay

The first section of the site that I began to explore was the Bundoo A-Z section. This section is full of informative articles written by experts on raising a healthy baby. There are hundreds of articles on everything, including pregnancy, babies, toddlers, health issues, feeding, and family life.

Bundoo A-Z

For example, if I wanted more information on acid reflux and why babies throw up I could find an article about it. Then, at the end of the article, there are suggestions for future reading.

The majority of the Bundoo site is free, although the Ask Bundoo section costs $35 per question. For this feature, you purchase the number of questions you want answered ($35 for a single question, $150 for six questions, and $100 per month for unlimited questions), then you write out your question using as much detail as possible. The question will then be answered by one of Bundoo’s  pediatricians or medical experts.

Ask Bundoo Example

I had the opportunity to try out the Ask Bundoo service. I had asked a question about R’s vomiting and acid reflux. Within an hour and a half, I had a response from one of Bundoo’s board-certified pediatricians. I was impressed by not only the speed of the response, but also the quality of the response.

If you aren’t wanting to pay the $35 fee for the Ask Bundoo service, there is also the Bundoo Community feature. Bundoo’s online community provides a friendly, positive space where parents can benefit from the support of other parents and gain access to experts in childcare, child development, pediatrics and pregnancy. Here you can join an existing group, make new friends, or start a group of your own. You can ask questions of other members, share articles, or even read up on Bundoo’s blog posts.

To learn more about Bundoo, visit their site and register for free. You can also connect with Bundoo via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.
