Rendi gives your home a little “style” {Review and Giveaway}

As you know, we moved to a new house in July. Even in my previous house, I didn’t do a lot of decorating. I just couldn’t find something that fit my taste. Even in this new house, I haven’t done a whole lot in the way of decorating so far. I had never head about Rendi until I had the opportunity to review their products. I have to say I was incredibly impressed!

Rendi has seven design collections, so you will be sure to find a style you like. I tended to lean toward the Pattern Play collection, which is where the two items I bought came from. I decided on the small scallop sign and the small medallion frame. Also, on the Rendi website I came across the idea to put these small wall decorations inside a larger picture frame to give them some additional definition.

The collage was super easy to make. All I did was buy a cheap picture frame from a secondhand store near my house and then add in the two Rendi pieces. I will eventually need to add more pieces, but you get the idea.

The first piece I got was the Small Medallion Frame and I was really impressed with the quality of the piece. On the website it never stated how thick the medallion would be or what the backing was made of, so I was somewhat concerned it would be flimsy. It wasn’t at all though.

The second piece I got was the Small Scallop Sign. What I really like about this is that with the attached clip you can add in your own pictures. Then, as the children grow and change over the years you can just update the 4×6 picture instead of having to purchase a whole new piece.

As you can see, the scallop sign also has a sturdy backing. With the scallop sign though you have the option of either using the attached place to hang it on a wall, or it also comes with wooden legs so it can stand as an easel. The medallion frame comes with a chain to hang it on the wall.

On the Rendi website you have the opportunity to customize colors and wording on the products. The only thing I wish would have been possible is to have more colors and more freedom when it came to placing text and using different fonts. Other than that I was extremely satisfied with these pieces.
