Now that the weather is nice it means that E wants to go outside almost every day. It’s great because he is getting exercise and getting fresh air, but it can be exhausting for mom!
The other evening after taking E for a walk, chasing him as he ran around the yard, and supervising while he “helped” Mike shovel landscape rock. Needless to say, by the time I took him inside to get his bath, I was exhausted.
I took him up to the bathroom, stripped him down, and then turned to get the towel out of the cupboard. It was when I turned around that I realized that he was sitting in the tub playing away — with his diaper still on! This is what I consider a pure parenting moment.
I laughed, took off his diaper, and got to giving him the bath!
