I am so excited that the holidays are here. It’s such a fun time of get-togethers with friends for holiday parties. However, at many of these parties you are asked to bring a dessert or side dish and I always feel like I’m struggling to come up with an idea.
Thankfully, I have Pinterest and several Giant Eagle stores nearby to give me some holiday inspiration.
Recently, I found a recipe for OREO Cookies ‘n Cream dip which is the perfect treat to take to your next holiday get-together.
This recipe yields 2 servings, but you can always double, triple, or even quadruple the recipe as needed, depending on how many people are expected at the party.
Making OREO Cookies ‘n Cream Dip
You will first need to gather a few ingredients, which includes:
- OREO cookies, crumbled
- 4 oz of cream cheese, softened
- 7 oz (one bottle) fat free Oikos fat free yogurt drink in vanilla
- Keebler Club Crackers, or Keebler Club Cracker sticks
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a fork until it is smooth. (You may also want to use a hand mixer for this.)
After the cream cheese is smooth, fold in the yogurt and OREO cookie crumbles.
Spoon the mixture into a small serving bowl. Top with additional crumbled OREO cookies.
Put the Keebler Club Crackers into a dish or a bowl. Now you and your fellow party-goers have a delicious dip to enjoy.
Additionally, serving the dip alongside some Giant Eagle brand ginger ale will give it an extra festive feel.
What is particularly great is that I can pick up everything I need, including a Hallmark card to give to the hostess, at my local Giant Eagle. In fact, Giant Eagle features not only its own brands, but also vendor brands which makes it the best destination for holiday parties, meals, and baking needs.
