Disclosure: I received a free Flip-It cup in exchange for posting the following review. However, as always, all opinions are my own.
When E started drinking out of a sippy cup, it was a challenge. We began by using a sippy cup that had the handles on the side that was easy for him to hold, but he very quickly began advancing to using a straw.
I discovered that finding a sippy cup with a straw that “worked” was much harder than I anticipated. What made it especially difficult was that E doesn’t always want to use a straw so I had to find a cup that had a removable straw. Then, I discovered the Nuby No Spill Mega Flip-It. This cup met almost all of my needs when it came to E.
Unlike many of the other cups I looked at, the Flip-It’s straw attaches near the lid of the cup instead of halfway down, so this cup can be used either with or without a straw.
I also love that the straw to the cup can be flipped in for traveling and storage. So many other cups don’t have this and I hate having milk or juice spilled all over my purse or diaper bag.
There isn’t a whole lot that I don’t like about this cup. The only problem I had with this cup is that the first one we had cracked when E threw it off of his high chair and onto the ceramic tile. The great thing though is that even though it broke, Nuby is awesome about replacing them. All I needed to do was contact Nuby’s customer service department and they sent me a replacement cup along with a mailer to return the broken cup.
These cups retail for approximately $3.95 and are available at retailers such as Walmart, Target, and Babies R Us, and online at CVS, Diapers.com, and Baby Earth.
Sullivan has this sippy cup and he just loves it!
