I am really picky about my computers. In fact I have always been known to have “fun” computers. I love ones that come in prints, have backlit keypads, or other unique features.
Recently, I had been in the market for a new laptop. When I saw these new special edition Realtree Xtra® camouflage print laptops from HP I was really excited. It really makes a statement, not to mention looks fabulous on my desk!
HP has some all new computers available for back to school at Walmart. Not only do HP computers come with all of the features I need, but they also have the affordability and overall value that I want. It’s perfect for families, students, gamers, or anyone else who is interested in cutting-edge technology.
So I already said I love unique and personalized items. I also love upcycling. After getting the new HP camouflaged computer, I decided to make a unique, upcycled pencil holder out of an old computer keyboard.
Making An Upcycled Keyboard Pencil Holder
I began by prying the keys off of an old computer keyboard. You can do this with a putty knife — or even just a regular table knife.
I found this cute canister holder at Walmart that had holes in the side. I knew that this would be perfect for this project.
After removing the keys, they still have a small stem on the back. I put the stem through the holes and used hot glue to adhere the keys to the holder. I kept adhering keys until the holder was covered.
What I particularly love is that this pencil holder goes so well with the HP camouflaged computer. The computer is perfect for someone like myself who loves the outdoors (as well as unique computers!), but it is also great for camps or even for man caves.
This computer is cutting-edge when it comes to technology. It not only runs Windows 10, but also has the latest Intel® processor, plenty of storage, and a crisp HD screen.
You can pick up the HP Camo Special Edition Notebook 15-BN070WM as well as other great HP products in the electronics section of your local Walmart.
Comment On: I love how my HP Special Edition Camo laptop really reflects my personality. Do you love unique computers as well? Visit the Walmart website and share your thoughts in an online review!
