The process of aging can be difficult. Everyday tasks that were once taken for granted have now become a challenge. Longevity runs in my family with all three of my grandparents being in their 90s. However, with age comes a certain amount of health challenges. However, taking care of your health and wellness shouldn’t be a source of embarrassment.
In the past 10 years, both of my grandmothers have had significant health issues which have left them needing extra help.
Having to use disposable briefs can often lead to self-consciousness which is why I feel it is important to provide confidence boosts. This is how I developed my “Pretty Little Things” gift basket.
Whether it is when delivering healthcare supplies to my grandmothers or other elderly friends and family, I try to make up cute gift baskets to deliver as well. It helps to boost their confidence and also to give them something else fun besides just health products.
This one in particular I made up to deliver to one of my grandmothers. I was inspired by the color coral and put the basket together based on that.
Making Comfort Gift Baskets
I want these baskets to be useful as well as a comfort and self esteem boost. This most recent basket was based on comfort items.
I found a very cool wire milk bottle crate and some light blue tissue paper which I packed it with.
I chose this fabulous cotton blanket throw which looked perfect for providing some warmth but isn’t too heavy. In addition I added a bag of popcorn was well as a thermal water bottle to the basket.
To finish the basket, I added a book for reading.
