There is something comforting in having an updated kitchen and bathroom. While we’ve all heard that kitchens and bathrooms sell houses, but it also provides a sense of comfort and hominess.
I purchased a new home last summer. Even though this house has been somewhat updated, there are definitely more than a few things that still need brought into this decade.
One of those things was the faucet in my gust bathroom. Somewhere along the line the bathroom was u[dated with a new tub and shower surround as well as new cabinetry. What the previous owners forgot to update, however, were the fixtures.
The sink faucet was one that may have been popular 20 years ago — silver and brass. Even worse than it looking outdated was the fact that it was no longer operating right either. It was beyond time for an upgrade.
I decided to go with a widespread bath faucet to give the bathroom a little more sophistication. Since I have dark brown cabinets and a white counter top I knew that the Breckenridge faucet in Tuscan Bronze would work perfectly.
Something to keep in mind when choosing a widespread is to make sure that you have enough space. You will want the holes in your sink bowl to have an at least 8-inch spread. Otherwise, you will want a centers faucet set.
The faucet was fairly easy to install. I will note that a widespread faucet set has a dedicated hot and cold line so you will have two water lines as well as the drain.
This faucet set is inspired by industrial design yet it doesn’t look too modern or masculine. It also has hex-nut tap styling and raised letters denoting hot and cold.
It also features the Pfister Pforever Warranty and the Forever Seal (advanced ceramic disc valve technology with a never leak guarantee) so I know I will have this faucet for years to come without worry.
I am so pleased with the look of this new faucet. It makes my bathroom look so much more modern and sleek.
You can purchase the Pfister Breckenridge Widespread Bath Faucet from PfisterFaucets.com. I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed!
