So I have a confession to make. Ok, its not so much of a confession as it is one of my guilty pleasures. I love Dunkin’ Donuts® coffee and donuts. It doesn’t matter if it i sin the morning or seven o’clock at night, but I have been known to indulge in some coffee at any of those times.
The problem is that it isn’t always practical to go to the coffee shop, so instead I have to enjoy my coffee at home. The great thing is that even though I’m enjoying my coffee at home, I can still enjoy the taste of Dunkin’ Donuts® coffee creamer anywhere with the Dunkin’ Donuts® Coffee Creamer Singles.
I love adding flavored creamers to my coffee as I feel it just gives it that extra something. That’s why when I found these cookie spoon baking molds I knew that it would be the perfect way to (quite literally) blend my love of coffee with my love of sweets. That’s why I made these delicious chocolate-dipped coffee spoons for stirring my coffee.
Chocolate-Dipped Coffee Spoons
I began by using regular sugar cookie mix in the spoon baking mold. After the cookies were cooled and I had removed them from the pan I actually let the cookies sit out for about a day. This allowed them to harden up a little more than usual but without actually getting stale.
I then melted chocolate candy wafers in a mug and dipped the curved part of the spoon in the melted chocolate, totally covering it.
I wanted to make this coffee spoon a little more festive so I added a few multicolored sprinkles to the wet chocolate.
You will then want to pop the chocolate-covered spoons into the freezer for a little while in order for the chocolate to harden. Then all you have to do is wrap the spoon in a plastic bag or, if you are like me, you will probably want to use it right away.
Just brew a cup of your favorite blend of coffee, pour in one of the Dunkin’ Donuts® coffee creamer singles and stir. The chocolate will melt and the cookie will get soft, making the coffee even more delicious!
The Dunkin’ Donut® creamers come in Vanilla, Caramel, and Hazelnut and are just like the ones at the store, but since these ones you don’t have to refrigerate, you can take them anywhere with you and they still have that extra creamy and flavorful taste.
Plus, when you pair Dunkin’ Donuts® Coffee Creamer Singles with Dunkin’ K-Cup® packs you really can have the taste of the coffee shop anywhere.
You can pick up both the Dunkin’ Donuts® Coffee Creamer Singles as well as the Dunkin’ K-Cup® packs in the coffee isle of your local Walmart.
