Make Dinosaur Tracks to Your Favorite Pool This Summer!

Its only two more weeks until Memorial Day weekend which means pool season is almost here! I’m pretty excited because we are moving to a new house in a community with a neighborhood pool. I just know we will be spending many afternoons poolside this year.

Although I don’t need much to incentivize the boys to go to the pool, I do love doing things for them to make experiences more exciting. Thats why I decided to make them these dinosaur tracks sandals. These adorable sandals actually make the outline of dinosaur prints when they are wet.

Your kids will love making tracks with these sandals and you will love seeing how much fun they have with them. Did I mention that they are easy to make?

Making Dinosaur Tracks Sandals

I bought these cute dinosaur print flip flop sandals at a craft store a little while ago with this project in mind. I also picked up a thick piece of craft foam and some tacky glue.

I traced a picture of dinosaur prints onto the craft foam and then cit the shapes out using a craft knife. I did one print for each sandal.

I then put a generous amount of the tacky glue on each print and glued it to the center of the sandal.

That’s it! I told you it was an easy craft. Now all you have to do is let the glue dry and then you are good to go!
