Here along the East Coast we are currently in the middle of a deep freeze — think single digits or less type of cold. This means that there are lots of runny noses, coughing, and general passing around of germs.
Now colds and the flu are pretty much the last thing I want to see in this house. I just don’t have time for either me or the kids to get sick! This year, to prevent that, I am thinking ahead — and preparing! Thankfully, Kleenex is helping me with this.
Since there is so much sniffling and runny noses this time of the year I have strategically placed several boxes of Kleenex throughout the house, particularly in areas that we use the most. This means that if the kids’ noses are running, they will know exactly where to find a Kleenex in order to wipe their noses.
Since I also know that those little hands have lots of germs on them, I also bought several containers of pump hand sanitizer and placed them alongside of the Kleenex. Now the kids will know to not only wipe their noses but also to sanitize their hands when they are done.
Both of my boys are currently in school and I know that lots of germs are brought home from school. And guess who is usually the one who gets sick? Yep, that would be me.
Since I buy my Kleenex in multipacks, instead of just using all of the boxes at home, I am also sure to send a box or two to school with the boys. I know the schools are always asking for donations so the teachers don’t have to buy them themselves, so not only do I want to help out but I also want to help prevent as many germs from coming home from school. Trust me, not only will the teachers thank you but you will also thank yourself when you aren’t getting sick!
You can pick up a variety of Kleenex products at your local Walmart. Just look for them in the paper product aisle.
