We’ve all been there. So often I need a gift for a birthday, graduation, or other holiday and I just have no idea what to get. This is when gift cards come to the rescue!
With gift cards I can just run to my local Ahold brand stores and pick up a few gift cards to give as gifts. My only problem is that I always struggle with gift cards feeling a bit impersonal. Thankfully, with a little imagination (and Pinterest!) there are a lot of cute ways to actually give gift cards as gifts.
Gift Card Bouquet: This is one of my favorite ways to give gift cards as gifts. Attach the cards to small, wooden stakes and push them in among a potted plant.
Gift Card Travel Cup: Have you ever seen those travel cups where you can actually insert a picture? An adorable idea is to insert a picture of the recipient into the cup and then fill the cup with a gift card. (Check out That Chic Mom for full instructions.)
Monogram Gift Card Holder: Use of of this large wooden monogram letters and paint it whatever color you want. Then attach some small clothespins to it and clip the gift cards on.
Movie Theater Invitation: If you are giving a movie theater gift card, making a custom ticket-style invitation is a really cute idea. (Check out Must Have Mom! for full instructions.)
Glued Envelopes: This was a really cute one I saw recently where you glue envelopes together so when your recipient opens it, all of the envelopes with gift cards drop down in a line.
