Nine years ago I tore my ACL. Six years ago I did it again and had to have it replaced. You are probably wondering what this has to do with babies, but ever since I had the screws put into my knee in order to repair it, it has been extremely difficult for me to kneel on hard surfaces. This posed a major problem after E was born and I would try to give him a bath in the bathtub.
I tried all different things to try and keep it from hurting, but eventually the leaning over the tub just got to be too much so I resorted to bathing him in the kitchen sink. This way I could wash him comfortably without my knee hurting so much. I used one of those baby bath seats, but the seat would sort of raise him above the water which always seemed like it would be cold.
This is a situation where the Blooming Bath for Babies is absolutely perfect — not to mention it is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! Blooming Bath is a soft insert that fits perfectly into any sink for a safe and comfortable bath-time experience. The bath is perfect for newborns up to age 1, depending on the size of your baby and the size of your sink!
Once you are finished giving the baby a bath you can either let the Blooming Bath air dry or you can put it in the dryer on low. You can even put it in the washer just like you would your regular clothes.
The Blooming Bath for Babies is only available on the Blooming Bath website and retails for $39.99. You can also get the Blooming Bath for Babies gift set which includes the bath, Burt’s Bees baby bath products, and a matching washcloth. Even better, there is a great deal going on on My Blue Birdie until Dec. 3 in which you can get the baby bath and the matching washcloths (which are usually $10) for $39.99.
Now the giveaway.
Blooming Bath for Babies has given me the opportunity to give away one of these great baths. The giveaway runs from Friday, Nov. 30 through 11:59 p.m. EST Monday, Dec. 10. Open to US residents only. Winner will be able to choose between a blue, pink, yellow, or ivory bath.

In the sink…it’s unbearable for me to kneel on any surface, much less a hard surface.
