We currently only have one functional full bathroom in our house which is the upstairs guest bathroom. Since myself and the boys are sharing the same space, I decided that the bathroom was overdue for a bathroom refresh.
The guest bathroom was one of those rooms in my new house that I hadn’t quite found a design that I loved. So in the meantime I found myself using either a kids’ bathroom shower curtain or other sets that didn’t quite match what I wanted.
I wanted a look that would not only be functional, but since I use this bathroom as well, I wanted something a little more sophisticated.
Since this is a bathroom, after all, I knew that in addition to the decor items I would need to stock up on the most important bathroom essential — toilet paper. Since I don’t want to have to worry about storing a bunch of extra rolls of toilet paper, I went directly for the Quilted Northern®. Giving the Guest Bathroom a Bathroom Refresh
After picking up my toilet paper essentials I headed to the bathroom decor section to pick out items for my updated bathroom. The bathroom is small so I wanted something that was bold but not overbearing.
I found the perfect shower curtain which featured a grey and yellow vine on a white background. It was perfect. I began building the rest of the room’s look based on the shower curtain.
Target has a great selection of bath decor products and the best part is the products can be mixed and matched to get just the look you want.
What I particularly love is that Target has coordinating bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and even rugs in their Room Essentials (Target brand) line. They are also an amazing prize so be sure to stock up!
Of course, no bathroom is complete without the coordinating accessories such as shower hooks, a soap dispenser, and bar soap tray.
I even added some of my handmade oatmeal soap to the soap dish.
I stocked some extra rooms of Quilted Northern Mega Rolls in my above-toilet cabinet. Now I know the kids won’t be yelling because we are out of toilet paper.
I am so pleased with how this bathroom turned out. I finally have my decorated bathroom!
