Do you love basketball? Are you already thinking about your bracket? Maybe you want to wow your guests at your big game party.
If you are one of those fans who is already planning the perfect party to root on your favorite team in the big game, then this basketball-themed Lemon Lime Glazed Bundt Cake made from 7UP® would be perfect for you!
What I particularly love about this recipe is that it only uses 5 ingredients and is so easy to make. It takes less than an hour to make — including bake time and tastes delicious. In fact, I can’t believe how moist it is!
Ingredients:
Bundt Cake
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup 7UP
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Begin by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.
Combine all of the ingredients for the bundt cake in a large mixing bowl. Mix well.
Grease the inside of a bundt cake pan and pour in the cake batter.
Bake in the oven for approximately 40 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick in it and it comes out clean.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan.
While the cake is cooling, begin mixing the glaze. This part is easy. In a small bowl, mix the 1 cup of powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix with a fork until it is thick. Then drizzle it over the cake.
Since this is a basketball-themed cake, I decided to sprinkle orange sprinkles over the glaze and serve the cake with some basketball cups and napkins.
Of course, no big game party is complete without having some ice cold 7UP on hand for your guests. After all, it isn’t just for cooking.
You can pick up 7UP in 12-ounce 12-pack cans, or 12-ounce 8-pack bottles in the drink aisle of your local Walmart.
