It’s that time of the year again! You may be already to starting to feel the pressure, or you may not have even thought about it yet. Regardless, holiday shopping season is upon us.
When it comes to holiday shopping, everyone wants to be able to get the best deals and save the most money. Who wouldn’t?
Many people feel that saving money during the holiday season is somewhat of a hassle. It means scouring Black Friday ads, comparing sales, and waiting in excruciatingly long lines in order to get the hottest toys. 
Recently, I discovered a new app that is changing the way we shop this holiday season. Plus, it the money you save can be used to purchase holiday gifts for your family!
The app that I’m talking about is Hopster Mobile Rebates. Hopster allows you to redeem rebates for groceries, beauty essentials, appliances, pet supplies, and more! Plus, it is available to use at a variety of retailers.
It is so easy to use as well. All you have to do is choose from a large selection of brands, shop at your favorite store, and take a picture of your receipt. The money from the redeemed rebates is deposited directly into your PayPal account. There is no need to reach a certain amount or redeem a certain amount of rebates first.
Hopster isn’t the only easy way to save money this holiday season. Here are a few other easy ways to save some extra money for your holiday shopping.
- Save your $5 bills. This is a really easy way to save that adds up very quickly. Every time you receive a $5 bill as change, save it. Stash it away and watch how quickly your stash grows.
- Shop early. The best deals aren’t always going to be found right before Christmas. In fact, some of the prices of the hottest or most popular items will actually rise around the holidays, especially if they are difficult to find. By shopping early you can look for the best prices ahead of time. Plus, you can spread out your spending over a longer period of time.
- Take advantage of price matching. There are many retailers that will price match other retailers, and even themselves. This means if you find a better price somewhere else, your favorite retailer will match it. Often retailers will also match themselves if a product goes on sale within a certain amount of time after your purchase.
- Take advantage of credit card rewards. Many cards offer rewards such as cash back, points, or miles. Take advantage of these rewards by putting your holiday purchases on the cards. Just be sure to pay off the cards each month!
There are so many ways to save this holiday season, but I am particularly excited about the Hopster app. It is so easy to use and my purchases can add up so quickly.
