This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; however all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
I remember when it was time for back to school shopping when I was younger. My mom and I as well as my best friend and her mom would go to Macy’s in downtown Pittsburgh. It always seemed so much more sophisticated to go into the city to shop!
Even though I have two boys, I still love to make Back to School shopping with them special. That’s why I still take them to Macy’s each year to do our shopping and check out the newest fashions.
This year is extra-special though. Macy’s is hosting a 90’s-themed Back-to-School Shopping Party. Yep, this year my boys get to find out what was cool back when mommy was young!
I admit it, when I’m feeling nostalgic (and often when I’m working) I love busting out my 90s-era CDs and rocking out. I feel like I’ve suddenly become my parents! I know that to my boys it must seem crazy, but I admit that it is some of my favorite music.
That’s why this free event at the Macy’s Ross Park (Pittsburgh, PA) is so much fun. Not only will they have a DJ playing some sweet 90’s tunes, but you can enjoy some 90’s-inspired beauty makeovers, styling tips, and fashion must-haves! There will also be free food, a photo booth, and other fabulous surprises.
Like I said before, I’m taking the boys — and my mom , as is tradition — to the Macy’s Back to School event at Ross Park Mall on August 20 at 2 p.m.
I’m pretty excited not only to go to the event but also to check out all of the kids’ fall fashions that Macy’s has available for the boys.
If you aren’t near Pittsburgh, you can check out this list of other Macy’s locations that will be hosting Shopping Parties. Hopefully, I will be seeing all of you there!
