Who doesn’t love movie night? There is so much hustle and bustle these days running from one event or activity to another that family time can easily get lost in the shuffle.
Even though my boys are still young, already our schedules are full. Between school, play dates, and work, things can get pretty hectic. That’s why its important to take time at least a couple of times a month to spend time as a family.
One of the ways we do this is through movie nights. The boys love getting out their sleeping bags, creating fun snacks, and spending time together. I always try to make some sort of creative snack and one that the boys really enjoyed recently was Swedish Fish Fishbowl Gelatin.
I started by making two batches of blue gelatin, pouring it into a glass baking pan, and cutting it into small cubes.
I had a fishbowl-shaped punchbowl that I put the cubed gelatin in to create the look of water. I only put about a third of the gelatin in, added a layer of Swedish Fish, and repeated the process until all of the gelatin was used. This gave the look of the fish swimming in the bowl.
The boys loved scooping the fish out of the bowl and putting it into their own individual bowls.
Just look for the Swedish Fish in their new packaging. (New look! Same fish!) on rollback for $4.48 for a limited time.
What I loved, besides spending time with the boys, was that we were able to rent our family movie from VUDU for free and stream it right to our TV. This is just one of the perks of the Walmart Family Mobile PLUS plan.
As I said before, I am frequently on the go, so that means staying connected is even more important. Walmart Family Mobile PLUS gives me a plan with Unlimited talk, text, and data which includes up to 10 GB of 4G LTE data for only $49.88. This is in addition to that free new release movie on VUDU ($7 value) every month.*
Just because the Walmart Family Mobile plans won’t break the budget doesn’t mean that you can’t get a great phone. I picked up the really sleek HTC Desire 626s. You can pick up one of these phones for only $129.00 and it includes features such as an 8 MP camera, 5″ HD touch screen, and a powerful quad-core processor to run all of your apps.
Plus, signing up for Walmart Family Mobile is easy. All you have to do is head to your local Walmart, pick a phone, and purchase a starter kit. Plus, for the first time ever, the starter kits are on rollback for $19.88 (from $25). This means that you can start service on any plan that very day for only $19.88.
You can find Walmart Family Mobile phones and starter kids in the electronics section of your local Walmart. Plus, if you visit the Walmart Family Mobile Social Hub you can find out when a Walmart Family Mobile in-store rep will be available to assist you. Plus, they will have Swedish Fish samples!
