I really don’t like spending money on things that I can make myself. One of these things is makeup remover. I used to buy the Almay circular makeup remover pads or the Biore cleansing wipes. But those things are EXPENSIVE! I thought that there had to be a way that I could make it myself for much cheaper.
Then I found a fantastic recipe online. All you need is a few ingredients and this solution literally costs pennies to make!
Here is what you will need:
- water
- baby shampoo
- baby oil
- container
All you need to do is mix 1 cup of water, 1 and 1/2 tablespoon of baby shampoo, and 1/8 teaspoon of baby oil. Shake well and put in a container. I just so happened to have a small spray bottle in my arts and crafts drawer. When it is time to use it just spray on one of those small cotton pads and use. Super easy and super cheap. Just be sure to shake the solution each time before you use it.
Is this suitable for removing eye make up like mascara and eyeliner?
Yes! I use it for both eyeliner and mascara and it works great!
