All over the world you can find love locks on bridges. This ritual began in Italy, where couples write their names or initials on padlocks. They then lock the lock onto the bridge and throw the key into the river as a symbol of their undying love. These bridges have been featured on both The Bachelorette and The Amazing Race.
Now Master Lock is taking this trend virtual. It also helps out an awesome cause. Master Lock is donating $10,000 to the American Heart Association and will donate an additional $1 for every Love Lock created (up to $5,000) October 20, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
