I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Beech-Nut. I received a free coupon to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
As babies, both E and Baby R suffered from acid reflux. Once they started on solid foods, I assumed that the reflux would subside, and it did — in some ways. In other ways, however, it actually seemed to get worse. I quickly realized that the time it was worse seems to be after they had eaten foods with a lot of dyes in it.
Because of this sensitivity to the artificial dyes, I resorted to making some of my own baby food. However, I still needed some baby food options to take in the diaper bag when we were out, or even just to use if I don’t have any of my own baby food on hand.
This is one of the reasons I’m so happy to have Beech-Nut. Their slogan is “This is not baby food. This is real food for babies.” This means that they don’t want moms to have to feed their babies anything they wouldn’t eat themselves.
The new Beech-Nut organic line comes in transparent honeypot glass jars so you can see exactly what is inside — which is delicious homemade-inspired food with no excess water or artificial preservatives. What’s even better is that Beech-Nut uses a unique, yet gently cooking process (similar to what I do at home) which doesn’t cook nutrients away and preserves the flavor of the fruits and vegetables.
Flavors in the Beech-Nut organic line include organic apple, raspberry, and avocado; organic banana, cinnamon, and granola; and organic butternut squash, black bean, and cumin. They all sound so delicious!
I’m really happy to say that after making the switch to Beech-Nut, neither of the boys had any continued problems with acid reflux, which also means that I wasn’t having to clean dyed vomit off of clothes, carpets, and even beds!
You can purchase Beech-Nut organic at so many fine retailers including Babies “R” Us (which is where I purchased mine), Kroger, Wegmans, Price Chopper, Wakefern, Walmart.com, Winn-Dixie, BI-LO, Stop & Shop, Giant Carlisle, A&P, Pathmark, Albertsons, Hanaford, Raley’s, Meijer, Nugget Market, Diapers.com, Harris Teeter, Shaw’s, ACME, Shoppers Food, and Cub Foods.
