I love fudge, but fudge at the store can be expensive, plus I always thought making my own fudge required a bunch of ingredients, tools, and quite a bit of skill. What I didn’t realize is that this isn’t the case.
This mint chocolate fudge only requires four ingredients, is easy to make, and only costs about $10.
Ingredients
You will need:
- Can of condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 2/3 cups (10 ounce package) dark chocolate chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup of Nestle DelightFulls Mint Filled Morsels (divided)
Directions
Line an 8-inch square pan with some nonstick foil.
Coarsely chop 1/4 cup of the DelightFulls and set them aside.
Combine the entire can of the condensed milk and the dark chocolate chocolate chips into a small, sturdy sauce pan. You will want to heat the mixture on the stove’s lowest setting, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth.
Once the mixture is smooth, add 1 teaspoon of the vanilla extract. Add in the other 1/2 cup of the DelightFulls to the chocolate. Just mix in the DelightFulls enough so that they are covered by the chocolate mixture.
Evenly pour the chocolate mixture into the lined pan. Once you have poured in the mixture, sprinkle the coarsely chopped DelightFulls onto the top. Gently press into the fudge.
Refrigerate the fudge for 2 hours or until it is firm. Once it has hardened, remove the the foil from the pan, cut into pieces, and serve. Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
This recipe makes approximately 20 servings.
